Baby's first ultrasound pics!

Today was my first prenatal check up for the new little one growing in my belly. I'm 11 weeks and 3 days today. The doctor had to break out the ultrasound machine because she couldn't locate a heartbeat with the doppler device. We could hear the baby moving around, but no heartbeat. We just wanted to be sure everything was okay...and it was! The first picture is a profile view of our little peanut (actually is about the size of a fig), and the second picture is a view of the front of the face with a little foot action in there. The baby did not want to be disturbed and was trying to kick the ultrasound wand away. These are pictures of the pictures that I had to put on here because we're having problems with our printer and laptop working together. So, the quality isn't the greatest, but you get the general idea of what's going on in my belly!

Who's that?

Mike took this video of Julia and I while we were reading the "Baby Bible." If you listen closely you can hear what's she's saying when I ask her "Who's that?" If you can't hear it, her answer every time is: "Jesus." I have to tell you also that I never once coaxed her to say His name. She said it all on her own one day and has been saying it ever since. It doesn't matter if we're reading the book she's used to or any other book with Him in it...she will point to His picture and say: "Jesus." Amazing!!!

Ring Around the Rosie!

This is a video Mike took of Julia this morning while I was upstairs taking a nap. Julia is playing her favorite game: Ring Around the Rosie...by herself...she loves it...not to mention it's super cute!

Our silly girl...and baby updates!

Hello everyone!

I haven't updated this in a bit, so I thought I'd post a couple new pics of Julia with her newest obsession...her sunglasses!

I took these pictures a while back....maybe a few weeks ago and I thought they were hysterical! I hope you laugh as hard at them as I did when I took them! :)

Oh, and as for "The Baby Chronicles": Baby's doing fine...still giving me a hard time with not letting me sleep and keeping me nauseated, but I think it's getting better. We MUST be having a boy as this pregnancy is TOTALLY different than when I was pregnant with Julia. Hopefully I'll have better news the next time I post an update for you! We hope you're all doing well and we love and miss you all!

New family photos!

For my Mother's Day present, my wonderful husband suprised me with a family photo shoot where I was treated to having my hair and makeup done for me. We just got our pictures back the other day so I thought I'd post a couple on here so you all could see them too. It was a great day and the photographer was WONDERFUL with Julia. The day we had these pictures done was the day we found out that Julia is going to be getting a late Christmas present, in the form of a baby brother/sister in January!



Julia loved the photographer! He was so good with her. In this picture she was trying to put her thumb in her mouth and he snapped the picture right before she got it in there. She was cracking up at him. We just can't believe how big she's gotten and we can't wait to see what she's like as a big sister. We have high hopes for her in that department!

Mother's Day, 2008

This year for Mother's day, we went to church in the morning and then came home and took Julia to the park to play for a little bit. She had a blast, it was a really good, relaxing day and I got some really cute pictures. I hope you enjoy them.
